Walking in the Alpilles, the Calanques or any "Parc Naturel"

A law has enforced a few years ago with regards to access to the Parc Naturel Régional, as the Alpilles around St Remy de Provence or the Cassis Calanques.
The access are set on the evening for the following day. Meaning you can't plan days in advance unless you are coming between Oct and April where access is usually not restricted.

3 levels are set :
Orange : Access open without restriction
Red : Access only from 6 to 11 am
Black : Access forbiden.
As for the Bouches du Rhône department (Alpilles and Calanques)
You can check the "colour" for the next day
- by phone 0811 20 13 13
- at your local tourist office (St Remy post it on the window)
-  by the net on

However, during summer time access is quite often restricted, especially during dry or windy periods.
