Lavender time in Provence

Of course most of my clients expect to see Lavender when they come to Provence but are usually disappointed as they didnt check prior to coming.

If you wish to see Lavender in full bloom, the best time to come is from mid June to early July.

Pending on the weather the buds are about to bloom by late May early June. In 2014 harvest time took place by mid July in the Luberon and a bit later higher up in the mountain in the Lavender capital of Sault.
