Van Gogh in Saint Remy de Provence. "Celebrating" the 125th anniversary of this death

It might sound like an unusual celebration but the partners of the European Van Gogh Route are celebrating the 125th year of the death of Vincent Van Gogh in 2015.

Vincent Van Gogh stayed in Saint Remy from May 8th 1889 till May 16th 1890. He then left for Northern France Auvers sur Oise where he unfortunatelly died on July 29th 1890 (will we ever know whether he comitted suicide or was killed by a couple of teenagers, the suspens is still hanging...)

All the Van Gogh Europe partners (click her to learn more) have compiled a comprehensive program covering all regions whereVincent Van Gogh lived.

Here is the Saint Remy program

In Saint Remy, the new digital route (available in English) is soon to be launched and I was attending the conference which took place Friday last, with details on what to expect....

The new digital route will enable you to add your eyes in Van Gogh's famous Saint Remy portrait and will also take you in Van Gogh's painting.....
The "physical route" is also to be "rearranged" and modernised so that you get to know more about Van Gogh and its works during this fruitfull year in Saint Remy.

Opening of the Conference with Saint Remy expert Elisa Farran  and Philippe Latourelle from the musée Estrine, Doctor Boulon from the Saint Paul de Mausole psychiatric Hospital and Catherine Galliot from Auvers Sur Oise Tourist Office.

Engrave yourself with Van Gogh, one of the apps .

For once I'm on stage....
